Hello CAS Families!
We hope everyone has adjusted to staying home and maybe even feeling more comfortable in new routines. Our Site Directors and staff are looking forward to getting into the schools again next week to complete their close up activities and are working hard preparing for next school year.
As a reminder, we are refunding 25% of March tuition. Refunds have been posted to your accounts and will be applied toward future tuition charges if your family is returning to CAS in the fall. If your family is not returning to CAS, a refund check will be mailed before the end of May to the address we have on file. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like the check mailed to a different address.
We again want to thank those who were in a position to donate their March tuition refunds. Thanks in part to your generosity, we have been able to continue to support our staff.
We can't wait to see you all in the Fall!

Hello CAS Families!
We hope you are all doing well. Please read the following from our administrative office.
With the uncertainty of when the kids will be back in the schools, we thought we would share what we do know at this point.
March Tuition Credit
We will be crediting all accounts that were active (a child was enrolled) during the month of March 25% of the standard monthly tuition. If your family maintains enrollment, this credit will be applied toward future tuition payments. If your family does not incur any additional tuition charges (you have withdrawn or we do not go back to school this school year and your child is not enrolled for next school year), we will mail a refund check by the end of May.
Many families have reached out to us offering to donate their March tuition refund back to our program so that we can continue to support our valuable staff. If you are interested in donating a portion or all of your refund back to the program, please reply to this email to let your Site Director know.
We are not charging any additional tuition at this date. If you are on Tuition Express, no additional charges will be deducted until further notice. If you are not a current Tuition Express user, we are recommending that you do not submit your April tuition. If we go back to school during the month of April, we will prorate tuition accordingly and notify you of the due date. No additional tuition charges will be applied if we do not go back this school year.
If have already remitted payment to our office, please contact email@example.com.

Dear CAS Parents,
Thank you for your patience as we all work to plan for the upcoming school closure. The CAS Board of Trustees (made up of fellow CAS parents) held an emergency meeting this afternoon to determine our path forward, including the best way to support our families during this unprecedented time.
Our Board recognizes the financial impact the school closure will have on our families and has decided to implement a tuition credit equaling one week of care. It’s important to note that our tuition is an annual rate based on the number of planned schools days divided into equal monthly installments. Holidays and other scheduled school days off are not included in the calculation of the annual rate. There were several factors considered in making this decision. The following outlines the three weeks:
Week 1: Spring Break
Our tuition is an annual rate calculated based on the number of days of school and does not include Spring Break or other days school is not in session. Because Spring Break is considered part of this extended break, tuition will not be credited for this week.
Week 2: Calamity Days
We follow the district’s limit of 5 calamity days (the district requires make-up days after five calamity days); this equals one week of calamity days that will not be credited or refunded. Our current policy states, “There will be no credits or refunds for calamity days.”
Week 3: Tuition Credited
The third week of no school will be credited to all active accounts. The refund equals one-quarter of your monthly tuition rate; i.e. if you pay $220/month, you will be credited $55, which will be applied toward April tuition.
In the event of further school closures, the Board will meet again to evaluate the changing circumstances.
Please note that we are also working to help support our valuable staff members by providing some compensation during this unexpected time off.
You may direct questions to our Board by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we all work through this difficult time together.
